We are a Veteran owned, family run flight school operating out of the Lake Cumberland Regional Airport in beautiful Somerset located in the heart of south-central Kentucky, the Williamsburg-Whitley County Airport which is nestled in the gorgeous Appalachian mountains of southeastern Kentucky, and in Livingston Municipal Airport, perched atop a gorgeous mountain in middle Tennessee.

Flight Training

We offer airplane flight instruction (now at THREE locations for your convenience – Somerset and Williamsburg, KY and Livingston, TN) for aviation enthusiasts and aspiring professional aviators alike from private pilot, instrument, commercial pilot certificate, up to and including certificated flight instructor and instrument instructor. You can start fresh with us or transfer from another school. Need a biannual flight review? We can do those too!

Discovery Flights

Want to see what it’s like to be behind the controls of a small aircraft? Or would you like a bird’s eye view of gorgeous Lake Cumberland and the infamous Cumberland Falls? Head on over to Somerset for that. Would you rather have that same great bird’s eye view of the Laurel Lake and the Cumberland Falls as well? Trek it on over to Williamsburg for that one. Want to see the gorgeous mountains of middle Tennessee? See us in Livingston. We’re not just flight instruction, we like to play around sometimes, too. We offer a half hour discovery flight for those who want an intro to flying. We also offer an hour long discovery flight for those who want to sightsee a little more.  Our airplanes can carry up to 3 passengers total (weight limitation does apply**) on this flight.
